Planning a posting cadence

How to set a posting pace you can sustain from the episodes you already make.

None of the platform help pages cited on this site state a recommended posting frequency[1][2][3]. Treat any fixed "post X times a day" number you see elsewhere with care unless it links to a source.

Start from supply, not a target

Your cadence is limited by how many usable clips each episode gives you. Use the clip planner: episodes per month × clips per episode ÷ clips posted per week tells you how many weeks your clips cover.

Keep a buffer

If the planner shows under about 4.3 weeks of coverage, you'll run out before next month's episodes arrive. Either post less often, cut more clips per episode, or draw on older episodes.

Post the same clip to more than one platform

One clip can go to several platforms if it fits each one's limits (see the specs table), which multiplies posts without extra editing.
